$1400 Gaming PC

Howdy All,

My friend has asked me to build a gaming PC for him for $1400. I have built quite a few peoples PCs before as well as a few of mine own but most of the time the budget is in the $2200-$3000 range. I am not as familar with the best bang for your buck parts, as most of the time I just get the biggest and baddest and toss it in. I think he wants intel/nvidia but I would love a list of both amd/radeon and intel/nvida from everyone as this middle ground is not my expertise. If you could include why on some fo your choices that would be fantastic! I look forward to reading what everyone has to say. I will also be ordering from NCIX.com as I have a account reputation with them and enjoy their service.

Thanks,

Mundrii - I would change a few things. Switch that Sabertooth out for a UD3, the 8320 for an 8350, that 2x4GB kit for a single 8GB or 2x8GB kit, and that PSU for a Seasonic G 550.

Here is my idea about a potential $1400 build.
