1333 <-> 2133?

Is the perfomance to cost ratio worth making an upgrade from 1333 <-> 2133 memory?  I'm currently running 4 sticks of g.skill DDR3 1333 (16gb).  Would I even notice a performance spike if I upgraded to 16gb 2133?

i would say it's not worth it, depending on what you do there's a good chance there will be absolutly no difference, just overclock the ram you have

Thank you for the quick reply.  That's what I was thinking and had calculated.  Thank you for some additional reassurance.

2133mHz is the sweet spot of having the high frequency and low CL, but the price can be pretty crazy. I'd stick to above 1600mHz, though. 1866mHz kits are pretty cheap, as well.

Yeah, but the question is, would I even notice a performance change by upgrading from 1333 to 2133 or anything in between?  PC Specs below:

Asus Crosshair V Formula AM3+ 990FX
AMD FX 8350 BE
Asus Radeon HD 7870 GHZ Edition
G.Skill Ripjaws 4GB X 4 1333(16GB)
Corsair Enthusiast Series 750W
Patriot Pyro SSD 120GB
X1 Seagate Barracuda 1TB SATA 3
X2 Seagate Barracuda 320GB SATA 2
Coolermaster EVO Heatsink
Rosewill Challenger-U3 Case

If you already have 1333mHz RAM, then try overclocking it. That motherboard is fantastic for overclocking.

Yeah, I'm on board with what the others are saying. Just overclock it, and try to find a sweet spot.
