1200 PC for friend

So, My friend wants a 1200 dollar PC for making music and playing games like bf3, FarCray 3, and such. He makes music, edits photos slighty, and most of all plays games.  If you guys could tell me if I'm dumb or not just that would be awesome. If you have any Suggestions just tell me.
BTW, he wants a blue build.

The wishlist is here: http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/PublicWishDetail.aspx?WishListNumber=26555107

P.S. You have to copy and paste the link, don't just click on it.

This build is pretty solid. You're pretty much good on the purchase. Just a question, but is your friend going to be using headphones that will be taking advantage of that sound card? And if he's going for a blue build, try going for some LED strips for added glow/badassery.

Seems very solid

your wishlist is gone...

Apparently you have to copy and paste the link into your URL bar, in case you didn't notice the post script.

Yeah, he has okay headphones but he will still hear a difference. My buddy has the same card and he noticed a difference as soon has he played his first song. I will try to have him buy some Sunlight sticks after I get it all finished.

Thanks guys, have any suggestions? I'm open to anything really.

ah, didn't get that. You should, like Miskonius said get the noctua! It kills water coolers in that price range. Maybe get a higher power supply for overclocking.... And get a 2 TB Seagate:

It costs 15 bucks more for +1TB

For the Mainboard the biostar 990fx mainboard

And I am sure you can find cheaper 1866 mhz cl9 8gb ram, I just don't know the prices in US, since the ram I wanted to suggest is really high priced in US. But the patriots of Miskonius look good.

id go for liquid cooling instead

why exactly? The noctua beats everything in that price range.

And the Phanteks PH-TC14PE beats the Noctua.

hm... I've researched. They are nearly the same, the noctua beats it slightly...

I will just go add an Noctua NF-p12-1300.

no no no, for that price, the noctua beats that watercooler! get it! (if your case size allows it)

Sigh...
