110c at boot after 1 click over clock 5700g and msi b550 tomahawk

I have played with the ati driver one click overclocking before but I see there was an update. So I clicked it… It did its thing and rebooted. Right at reboot the fans ramped up. I get a bios warning that the CPU temp is high. The temp stays at 110c and doesn’t move. The CPU heat sink feels cold. (Stock amd cooler that came with the processor). This system has been running good for a couple months.

I loaded bios defaults… No go. Currently pulled the bios battery.

Thoughts?

Thanks

Well - removing the bios battery and unplugging fixed it…

back to normal operating temps… 42c
