Downgrade your HDD to a 1TB one, and your ram to 1600. Any high is not that great for gaming unless you are using an AMD APU really. Maybe 5 frame if your lucky. I suggest a 7870 GHz. Unless you really want to run sli or crossfire, go with the 970 extreme3. It's cheaper and is just missing the USB 3.0 header. If you need the USB 3.0 header, pay the little bit extra for the for the extreme4, but otherwise the extreme3 is just as good. Go with a Corsair CX600, it will save you a bit more too and is 80+ bronze
You chose all good parts, but for a gaming rig it's all overkill. I have like 20ish games and have yet to fill a 500gb drive. Came close, but never full. Look at all the MOBO features of what you are planning to getting, and compare it to the gen before it. the extreme4 is good, but has barely and difference from the extreme3

Asus if you want the best, or MSI if you want second best and cheper. And see, you already saved yourself a ton of money. If you want you could get a 8350 now, or a ssd, or more games with your 1k budget.
Gonna go against agent here and say you should just spring for 1866 memory with a CL of 9 or under and go for the MSI Twin Frozr 7870 ghz edition

go with a 7870 tahiti LE (or XT) it will be alot faster than a normal 7870 since it is based on 7900 architechture and it is the same price as the MSI twin frozor

Oh jeez I completely forgot about the Tahiti Le. I've been trying to recommend that card as much as possible. Go with that one, ahah. Scratch the MSI.
The Sapphire 7870 Ghz is not clocked at 1ghz. Why it's call a Ghz edition is beyound me.
