$1000 pc suggestions

Hello ive been wanting to get a pc for about 2 years now and been slowly getting the money. here is my current list of parts.

i wanting to get on decently high settings games i want to play are planetside 2, battlefield 3, minecraft(its freakin minecraft man), Team Fortress 2, day z(arma 2), dota2

Cpu- amd fx 8350

reasoning: I might want to start streaming which i think would be fun or be able to make a server be it minecraft, bf3, or maybe even day z (please tell me if i cant host a server and play at the same time or you might loose framerates on it). also the terms of cpu pricing for an i5 isn't to far off but motherboard for intel is pricey.

motherboard- MSI 990fxa gd80v2

im not realy sure on the motherboard im also looking at the Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3 i realy dont know which one to choose.

Graphics card- msi r7870 hawk

ill be honest i do realy enjoy the msi gpus thier look and this one has a atractive price/proformance ratio.

ram- Gskill ripjaw x 8gb 1600

if you want to school me on ram go ahead i choose it because it was blue.....

hdd- Seagate barracuda 1tb 7200rpm sata 6.0 mb/s 64mb cache

its a tb hard drive.... dont realy want ssd yet.

PSU- cooler master silent pro 600w psu

it is partialy modular which i like and bronze certifide how could you go wrong....(also if i wanted to overclock would this be big enough?)

Case- Cooler Master Storm trooper

i enjoy this case very much and i love the pun.

OS- Windows 7

sorry i just hate 8. i played with it and it didn't do it for me and how metro was emplimited was very poor in my option. (also if your wandering how im going to get this on computer with out a cd drive im planning on using a usb drive to put it on there. if that doesn't work ill barrow one from another computer.)

thanks in advace for any constructive critesism. also sorry if thier is alot of spelling errors grammer nazi please dont kill me :(

Hey Sideways117,

Nice build you have got there, everything seems to be in order but you are missing an aftermarket heatsink. It is true that the 8350 comes with a heatsink, but this wont enable you to overclock, just run at stock speeds. I would suggest that you at least invest in Somthing like a Coolermaster Hyper 212 EVO. It is around $30 US and is great value. As for the motherboard I have had plenty of experience with ASUS boards, and would recommend the ASUS M5A99FX-PRO-R2, it should be in your price range. Good luck your build, and while I dont agree with it, I respect your decision to use windows 7.

SoLz

Im look farward to using W8, its not like they are gunna go "opps we messed up so we stoppin w8 now" :D

ya i was planing to wait to get an aftermarket heatsink later  im cutting realy close on the bugget  i was thinking something like an corsair h100i, a coolermaster v8, or a cooler master t 812. also im probly not going to overclock till for awhile anyway.

on the motherboard if i was to get an asus i would probly get the crosshair V but that is $60 so not in my bugget also the colors match up better with the msi board and gpu blame linus....

thanks for respecting my decision on windows 7 most people i know would just bash me and say no no windows 8 is so much better.

i wish hopes windows 9 gives us the start button back :'(
