$1000 Laptop Advice

Hey dudes, I am in the new few days going to have 1000 bucks to play with an as such i decided that i am going to need a laptop for use in the future, i am planning on selling my gaming PC as i do not play games anymore and i have no interest in games.

 

What the laptop needs to have:

  • It MUST have the ability to be paired with a dock.
  • The keyboard MUST be similar to the lenovo thinkpad edge 14, if you have ever used a lenovo laptop you know what i mean.
  • It must be under 2 kg's
  • FULL HD (1920 x 1080) screen.
  • I MUST be able to run 2-3 virtual machines at the same time(Windows, Linux, whatever)
  • Minimum 2ghz dual or quad core
  • should boot up within 20 secs or less

 

What i'm going to use it for:

  • medium/heavy Web browsing(20~ tabs at any time)
  • Web development(html, javascript, php etc)
  • Programming in Python, C++, and whatever else i might feel like messing around with
  • FL Studio and Aduacity

If someone recommends an apple product, please do not hate on his recommendation as it is totally valid and will be taken into consideration...

Any ideas?

I don't know the keyboard but here are two options.

I would recommend the dell. Its what I use as my portable workstation.
