take a look at my specs on my profile- I'm able to play Metro:LL on max settings (no AA or physX) 1440p 60fps
I can say that you will enjoy that system quite a bit, However you will need to OC your CPU which on that mobo and FX platform is easy- I'll help you out with that (you have good cooling too)
psu is a bit overkill, 550 / 650W is way enough. you could safe some cash there.
If it was my money, i would go for an i5 unlocked or locked, with a cheaper mobo. This will improve the performance in cpu bound games allot. you have to overclock a FX 8 core through the roof, to keep up with a locked i5. Even a FX9590 which turbo´s up to 5.0Ghz just gets asskicked in gaming by an locked i5 realy.

Offcourse if you could sqeeze ~$70,- more then a 4690K with a better Z97 board could be worth it. because you have the abillity to overclock the cpu then, to sqeeze some extra performance out of it, but yeah thats up to you.
