$1000 Gaming PC

I'v been trying to make myself a gaming rig that hopefully isn't over my $1000 buget. I am trying to build it from top to bottom and I need some help. If anyone has any suggestions it would be much appreciated.

hmmm ok. With this build though i presume you are using old HDD. And aren't killed for space. This is purely gaming.

NZXT Switch 810 -169.99 (if you are going to reuse case then buy a SSD with that money)\

XFX FX-7950A 7950 Core 3GB 349.99 -20.00 mir

XFX Core Edition PRO550W 74.99 -10 MIR (If you are reusing power supply buy better ram or a 7970)

Patriot Gamer 2 series 8GB (2x4) 41.99

MSI Z77A-G41 109.99 -10 MIR

I5-3570K 222.99

Subtotal 976.94$ US before MIR(s)

If you choose not to buy the case you can easily add a SSD and an H60 or better ram.

i think instead of the nzxt case you should save $69.99 and get the cm haf 922 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811119197

and with the money you save you could get the gtx 670 http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814130787
