$1000 for my tax return what should I buy?

The title says it all, what upgrade for my setup should I get?

Right now my setup:
i7 4790K
Z97 Sniper G1 Mobo
GTX 970 G1 Gaming
8GB Trident X 2400mhz
Seasonic G650w
Samsung 840 Pro 250 SSD
WD Black 2TB
Corsair H100i
Define R4 case
Blackwidow Ultimate
G502 Mouse
Dell U2412M Monitor

I'm thinking of maybe getting a 144Hz Monitor or a 1440p Monitor or a new Keyboard like a Ducky Shine 4 or another GTX 970 G1 for SLI. What do you guys think? This is purely money to have fun with etc. What would you guys buy?

Get 1k worth of body pillows.

I'd probably go for this. A 144Hz 2560x1440 monitor and a second GTX 970 to help push those frames at that resolution.

down-payment on a car, or maybe a nice vacation? You also don't have to spend money just because you have it.

My cars only 2 years old and I'm already leaving to Mexico in less than 2 weeks lol. So I'm in a unique position to blow this money on some new toys!

That looks amazing! Great suggestion.I'm in Canada and the Canadian dollar for lack of a better word is total shit atm so it will be well over 1 Grand for that bit of kit. Sadly :(

What is your job? If you pursue a career, I would probably spend that money on honing my skills.

I was going to say take a class or something. Personal Investment is always worth the money...

1440p monitor, another GTX 970 and pretty much any mechanical keyboard off Massdrop is well within budget. Have fun!
(Oh, and spending it on education instead of PC hardware is also a good idea... maybe a compromise of a 970, a nice mechanical keyboard, and a Linda.com subscription may be good.)

Yo this 4k gsync is $650 from ncix today only: Acer XB280HK
Buy that and another 970, then go crazy.

I would honestly say with your build to get the monitor and put the rest in your 401K. If you don't have a 401K go buy some stock through ...

or

Your build is great. Will last you years. Start spending money on your future. You earned it and probably deserve a little bump in your savings/retirement.

Just my 2 cents.

^^^ yes

new monitor and gpu

Monitor, otherwise, get yourself a lovely statue, figurine and other collectible exotics.

A few stocks/shares in a company. A CD or two from your local bank. Invest in the Mutual Funds.

you should buy a nice suit to help you get a decent job so $1000 isnt a big deal to you.

...I know this is a silly question, but what is your computer doing that makes you feel you need to upgrade it?

Gaming and content creation, video editing, photoshop etc.
