100$ headset

Recommendations for a 100$ headset for gaming since my turtle beach x12s finally died.

Logitech headsets are probably the best option, imo. I'm not a fan of Steelseries, Razer, or Corsairs. I've heard good things about Corsairs, but the design looks uncomfortable and ugly to me.

I this is a tricky topic and I would be interested in others input. But please don't knock my recommendation if you have not tried them. I want to first ask what your using them with. I assume PC. But if your using them on console I need to know that because it does matter.

Anyway I have used your headset myself. I have used the G430 and I have been sent the Sony PS3 ones. I have a pair of Steel Series Siberia V2's and Hyper X clouds.

I am super picky about headsets. I needed something that sounded really good and where comfy to wear for hours. I have hit a lot of walls on my quest for a gaming head set.

Get these they in my option are the best of the best right now in your price point.

Logan has done a review of them. You can find them by searching for Hyper X cloud in the forums. Hardwarecanucks has done a review of them. I have done a review of them. We all liked them a whole lot.  They are the best gaming head set out there.

What you need to know is to get the best out of them you may need a headphone amp. Some motherboards already have good amps in them. And most will drive the headset just fine. Also the mic is directional and will need to be seated close to your mouth for best performance.

I have not tried the audio technica ones yet. But there 300$ USD Need to get me funds up before I do that.
