So, I'm looking to save money and build a decent htpc. I have a exturnal network harddrive laying around so I was think just putting all my movies/tvshows to that and just streaming it to my htpc. If youguys can build me one for as little as you can that would be awesome.

I put this together. I built it around cost, but I didnt want to sacrifice quality parts. You shouldnt have any issues with this processor if you were multitaskng, streaming, and etc. The processor is also a light 65 watts for saving on electric bill. I put an SSD because since you will be streaming from another machine, you dont need storage, and this will allow you to boot up and shutdown the system in about 8 seconds. So no waiting and no HDD slow downs. I chose this ram because it is lower voltage and will save you some money in the long run. Also 4 GB is the sweet spot for streaming larger files. You might run into buffering problems steaming HDD on 2 gb.
The case is a little too big, but for the price, it is good for airflow to keep everything cool and quiet while you are watching movies.
If you want something all black then I would say this for the same price.
