1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Triple Monitor - Two Computer |3 Back USB Console Ports Not working

I bought a 1.4 Display Port KVM Switch - Triple Monitor - Two Computer back in October of 2023. I just had to move some things around to upgrade my monitor arms and all the sudden the 3 console USB ports gathered on the bottom near the power connector don’t work. The USB Port in the bottom right / both front ports will register devices. Aux and Display work exactly as expected with out issue. There are no new changes the only thing that was changed was the physical location / wire management. I bought all new 10 FT Cables to ensure that nothing is pulling to eliminate that as a potential issue & cables were purchased following the LTT Guide for Display port 1.4 cables from amazon and I have tested the USB cables and can verify their independent USB 3 speeds.

  • I one by one confirmed with 3 separate devices (Keyboard, Webcam and an externally powered USB Hub) that the issue is limited to the 3 ports specified.
  • I have unplugged the KVM and plugged it back in
  • Attempted to “Double-tap numlock to do a soft-reset on the USB hub (some USB peripherals do not like to be connected to a KVM!)” this also didn’t do anything but I can’t use and of the listed keyboard command either.
  • Left the dock unplugged and powered off for 24 hours and tested with the same results.
  • Issue is the same in Windows 10 (PC1) and Windows 11 / Linux (PC2 Is a USB-C Docking Station)

Let me know if I’m missing something or if there is anything else I can try.

unplug the device from usb and power for 2 mins then plug back in only power and usb to the computers. then plug in only one simple/driverless usb device to the rear usb port

what one device did you pick and did it work? the hid ports are meant for hid/driverless type devices and one hinky device in a usb hid port can take out other hid ports.
